Richard C. Schultz, MD, FACS

Dr. Schultz graduated Medical School at Tulane University in New Orleans in 1984.  He remained in New Orleans to complete his residency in Otolaryngology in 1989.  He then moved to Traverse City to start his private practice, Cass Street Ear, Nose, and Throat.   Dr. Schultz is certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology.   One reason Dr. Schultz chose the specialty of E.N.T. was for the opportunity to evaluate and treat patients of all ages for both medical and surgical conditions.  Dr. Schultz has developed a particular interest in treating diseases of the ear, nose, and sinuses and the coexisting problems of asthma and allergy.  His favorite patients are of the pediatric age group.  He states "it is gratifying to gain the trust of the young ones and help them achieve better health".  Dr. Schultz is grateful to have the opportunity to serve on the "Up North" Faculty of Michigan State University and enjoys having students and medical residents rotate through his practice.
